Our Community

Welcome To Our Village…

Burton in Cheshire, on the Wirral peninsula

Set in the delightful West Cheshire village of Burton, near the historic market town of Neston,  Gladstone Village hall (GVH) is perfectly positioned in the centre of the village, serving the local communities of Burton and Puddington since 1906 . It is the ideal venue for all events large and small, with wonderful facilities for parties, weddings, groups and classes.

What We Do

We organise and host an array of community events throughout the year, some of these have included –

– Bonfire Night
– Village Fete / Festival
– Dog Show
– Farmers Market
– Pumpkin Festival

Interested In Offering Support?

We would love to hear from you…

Do you have a germ of an idea which can make our community more communal or greener? Clothes swaps? Games nights? Knit and natter?

Gladstone Village Hall is for all us and we are always looking volunteers to help run our community events or come up with ideas of how we can use the village hall to serve the community better. If you have any ideas or have some time whether on the day or planning/organising we would LOVE to hear from you. We all lead busy lives so however much time you can give – we would welcome you with open arms! Enthusiasm goes along way….!

Support Our Charity

The GVH is central to the community and is set up as charity. It has always been run by a small, enthusiastic and dedicated team of people who volunteer to ensure it keeps running. A heartfelt thanks to anyone who has given their time over the years.
